You will find the ARE products for Intaglio which is comprised of a unique range of acrylic resists and complementary products used with the resists. The Tusche products are used in light-sensitive printmaking processes and to create washes . The positives can be used with water-based screenprinting, acrylic-resist etching, solar plate printing and other traditional methods. The ready to use tusches are for opaque autographic (hand made) marks on printmaking positives. The tusches may also be used to enhance and alter images on photographic, digital or photocopy positives.
Screenprinters will find a good system for all levels, including the Screenprinting paste, Lascaux Acrylic Transparent Varnishes, Gouache colours, along with Thickener and Retarder. Once proficient with the Lascaux materials, we would suggest the Sirius Watercolour and Sirius Acrylic; both can only be used for translucent printing mixtures. The Watercolour is easier to use than the acrylic. Resonance Gouache is great fun but best for opaques, special needs groups, art therapy and studios that use a lot of paint.
Seasoned users will find the Studio Acrylic to their liking. Bronze acrylics are best used by Advanced printers.
